When our friends Jerry and Karin Young sold their herd, we were fortunate enough to be able to purchase Sallay. This beautiful true black Lancaster daughter was exactly what we were looking for to add to our black herd. Sallay's black fleece is still extremely soft and dense at age13,

Well her last three crias have been sired by Captain Midnight and they are stunning. A TB male who was sold at 3 weeks of age and a DF female who is just as beautiful. See Carling under her own listing.. Just recently Sallay delivered a stunning TB female who we have named Captain's Ebony. Ebony has been sold to Walnut Ridge Acres.

When I look at Sallay, it's hard to believe she's 16 years old and definitely pregnant. She looks as good as she did the day we bought her. She''s such a great producer and oh so healthy. She carries a very special cria. The cria is sired by 5C's Captain Booker who is on his way to Switzerland. This cria will be one of the first crias of 2023 and we can't wait!!!
